Environmental activist and filmmaker Ryan Young will report back from his recent trip to the Gulf of St. Lawrence aboard the Sea Shepherd conservation vessel the R/V Farley Mowat where he began work on his next film about the Canadian commercial seal hunt--the largest annual mass slaughter of a marine mammal species anywhere in the world. Ryan Young will share his experience, some of his raw footage and slides, and knowledge about the commercial seal hunt and the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, one of the most effective direct action environmental organizations in the world.
